How To Make Fried Rice Special Instan

 

Don't have much left in the fridge apart from yesterday's rice and vegetables? Perfect! You can conjure up a delicious meal from just a few ingredients: fried rice is the best way to use up leftovers. It is prepared by stir-frying cooked rice in a wok or skillet. The dish, also known as fried rice, is particularly popular in Southeast Asia - both as a side dish and as a main course.


As additional ingredients you can use almost anything that the fridge and pantry can still provide. If you even have meat in the fridge (or go shopping especially for your favorite recipe), you can also pimp up your rice. There are mainly variants with minced meat or chicken. But also with seafood or vegetarian with vegetables and often with eggs. In our recipe collection we will tell you tasty recipes for different variants with fried rice.


How to properly prepare fried rice with vegetables and egg: this is how it works

The good news: You can prepare our recipes with both cooked rice from the day before and with rice that has not yet been cooked. In the second case, you simply have to boil the rice in advance in a saucepan with salted water, pour it into a sieve and loosen it up a bit with a fork. Long grain or basmati rice is best.


Now you can chop the vegetables. In our basic recipe for fried rice with vegetables and eggs, these are leeks, carrots, zucchini and red peppers. You have to clean and wash all the vegetables, cut the leeks into rings and the carrots and zucchini into thin strips. You can halve the peppers, deseed them and also cut them into thin strips.


Heat some oil - we recommend neutral oil, e.g. B. Sunflower oil Рin a large pan and saut̩ the leeks and carrots. Now add the courgettes and peppers, stir in about 3 tablespoons of water and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and saut̩ for about 2 minutes. Now you can season with curry powder if you like. Add the rice and fry it briefly while turning. The eggs come into play in the next step: Whisk them with soy sauce and pepper in a bowl. Pour into the pan while stirring and allow the eggs to set. The Asian-inspired, simple yet delicious meal is ready.


Other vegetables that go well in fried rice recipes include bell peppers, spring onions, pak choi, snow peas, oyster mushrooms, or shiitake. Just take your favorite vegetables.


More recipes for fried rice: meat, tofu and the right seasoning

If the dish is to become a main course, you can prepare the classic with chicken. It is best to use chicken breast fillet for this, which you cut into strips. Here, too, you heat oil in a wok and first fry the meat in portions over high heat while stirring, then you take it out. Now you proceed as with the other recipe: fry the vegetables, add the rice and fry them. Finally, add the meat back in and season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.


Or are you more of a minced meat fan? We have a wonderful recipe for that too: fried rice with minced meat. It's Thai with pan-fried pork fillet. For seafood fans, crabs are also a tasty addition to rice. Simply add it to the pan as the last ingredient and only let it heat up briefly. And if you like it vegetarian but want to fill everyone up: fried rice with tofu is also very tasty. The crispy tofu mixed with vegetables cooked al dente gives lovers of Asian cuisine a holiday feeling.


As is so often the case in Asian cuisine, seasonings and herbs are also particularly important here: almost no recipe can do without soy and chili sauce. If you like coriander, you can chop it up and pour it over the finished meal. Chives also make a good decoration. If you like it spicy, you can mix in fresh ginger or ginger powder.


We can recommend cashew nuts for a nice crunchy effect: As described in the recipe for fried rice with spiced cashews, first chop the cashew nuts roughly with a heavy, sharp knife. Then you roast them in a wok while stirring and without fat until they are fragrant. Now dust with cayenne pepper, curry and paprika powder, stir and remove from the wok. After preparing the fried rice, simply mix in the nuts again. We wish you a good appetite!
